Endorsement criteria
The proposed meeting or course should be able to stimulate an attendance of a reasonable size with regard to the specific characteristics of the initiative (congress, workshop, course, etc.), treating one specific topic, not in competition with the events organised by the BASS.
The proposed event should be CME accredited, either by the national authority or by a European accreditation body such as EBAP (www.ebap.org). A meeting might be accredited by the independent body EBAP but not endorsed by the BASS if it would conflict with some of our own activities.
The proposed meeting cannot be organized by commercial companies. It can be sponsored by third parties, but the initiative should ly with an organization that has no primary intention to make a profit. As such, the programme cannot be announced on the website of commercial organizations.
