Are data the future for a better Brain and Mental Health?
On May 14 and 15, 2024, the BBC is organizing a symposium that will officially inaugurate the creation of an Altruistic Data Association.
This creation is the result of the application of the European Data Governance Act (DGA), which encourages the voluntary sharing of data for altruistic purposes such as scientific research or the improvement of public services. This symposium will present the fruit of our interactions with the political world, scientific experts and the trust placed in the BBC by its 25 patient associations and 22 scientific societies.
This symposium is aimed at a wide audience interested in data sharing in the healthcare sector. There are 150 places available. The political debates and the session where patient associations have their say will be translated into French and Dutch in real time. The scientific session will be in English. Online participants will be able to ask questions via the Slido platform. Reservations will be open from March 15, 2024.
